Financing your new purchase is a very important part of the transaction. In the many years I have been practicing real estate, I have built relationships with many area lenders. These are professionals whom I trust to finance my own purchases as well as the purchases my clients make.
Who you choose to finance with will depend on the circumstances surrounding your purchase. For most single family home purchases, a mortgage banker or loan officer at an area bank, savings bank or credit union will be able to help get you to the closing table. If you are financing a multi-unit investment property or commercial property, we may need to seek out the assistance of a commercial banker.
Whether you will be best served by a fixed rate mortgage or an adjustable rate mortgage is another important consideration. I consider my math and financial skills above average and am happy to make recommendations in this area based on your employment, probablility of transfer or the length of time you plan to reside in the home. My best skill is listening.
